It would be another 11 months before Brock Lesnar lost via pinfall in a singles match, with Eddie Guerrero defeating him 1-2-3 for the WWE Championship in a memorable match at the No Way Out pay-per-view in February 2004.

With the referee down (this seemed to be a theme in Lesnar’s early matches!), Goldberg interfered in the match by delivering a spear to “The Next Big Thing”.

Shortly after, Lesnar tried to hit an F5 on Eddie, but he was able to reverse it into a DDT before landing a Frog Splash on his opponent to pick up the biggest win of his career.
