#1 Roman Reigns
Like a few of the Superstars on this list, Roman Reigns was nurtured and developed by WWE at NXT following his football career. How Brock Lesnar ruined another wrestler's career - Watch Now!
After signing with WWE in 2010 and coming through the ranks at FCW and NXT, Reigns debuted with his fellow Shield brothers, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, in 2012.
Since then, his career has been on the up, becoming The Guy of WWE, taking over the mantle from John Cena. Reigns is perhaps one of WWE's biggest assets, not only for his work in the ring, but also away from it, as he has been a part of several of WWE's charitable programmes.
For WWE, he is the perfect guy to be the face of the brand, one that has a clean image and makes a big impact to the lives of fans. It will be unusual to see Reigns wrestle in a promotion that is not WWE, as he could go down as one of the greats alongside the likes of The Rock, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, and Stone Cold Steve Austin.
