7 main roster Superstars who should be drafted to NXT

Triple H

Triple H's brainchild: NXT has developed from a mere developmental territory for WWE into a brand in its own right with a cult following and fans who would consider NXT even better than RAW and Smackdown.

At the core of it, however, NXT is a stepping stone for future main roster stars; however, there have been instances where Superstars from the main roster have joined NXT for a brief time.

Let us take a look at 7 Superstars who will benefit from going back to NXT:

#5 The Revival

The Revival

The Top Guys have been anything but that ever since they made their debut for the main roster in 2017. Although they received an instant push gaining victories over The New Day, their push failed to sustain itself.

Hailed as one of the best Tag Teams in NXT due their methodical in-ring style which reflected yesteryears of wrestling, The Revival has not been able to capitalize on their wrestling style on the main rosters and have been reduced to jobbers as of now.

It is safe to say that their style of in-ring work which is much slower than what the casual WWE audience is used has not clicked and either they will have to adapt or continue being made a mockery of.

Heading back to NXT would give the two talented Superstars some time to work on their style and also be a huge addition to the NXT tag team division.

The duo recently made an appearance on an NXT live event so we may see this happening soon.

#4 Mojo Rawley

Everyone thought Rawley would be a break-out star after he won the 4th annual Andre The Giant Battle Royal, but that wasn't the case at all.

Rawley spent a majority of his time in NXT as the tag team partner of Zack Ryder and has failed to find his footing as a singles Superstar on the main roster.

A run as a singles competitor in NXT would be beneficial for the former Hype Bro, as he will get a chance to show his mettle as a heel competing with the likes of Ricochet and Pete Dunn in NXT.

#3 Apollo

Apollo

One of the most gifted athletes in WWE, Apollo's career has failed to take off majorly because he was called to the main roster very soon, without having much experience in NXT.

Many of the NXT stars have failed to make an impact on the main roster and are used as enhancement talents but Apollo has much more capability than to be wasted as a jobber.

The main problem with Apollo seems to be his extremely generic character, so a stint back in NXT would help him find a more entertaining side to him which will help him connect with the audience more.

#2 Breezango

Breezango

The case of Breezango-- Fandango and Tyler Breeze is a rather peculiar one. The two are not only talented inside the ring but also managed to get extremely over with the crowd thanks to their backstage Fashion Police skits.

However, what got them over is also what has hampered any possible push they could have received, as the two were unfortunately branded as a comedy team.

Going to NXT would help the Fashion Files gain momentum as a legitimate tag team and would also have a better chance at winning the Tag Team Championships in NXT than they have on the main roster.

#1 Goldust

Goldust

Goldust is a legend, no doubt; but there is also no doubt that he is currently being wasted on the main roster.

Goldust not only has a wealth of experience but looks to be in the best shape of his career. A veteran like him should be used to help upcoming talent learn the ropes of the business instead of merely eating pins every week.

The former multi-time IC Champion can go on to have a feud with NXT Superstar Velveteen Dream, as the two have relatively similar gimmicks and it would certainly be something the fans would love to see. A win over a future HOF like Goldust would also give a great rub to Dream.

Another advantage for Goldust will be that he will be able to work a lesser schedule.
