When Batista returned at Ric Flair's birthday celebration on Raw a few weeks ago, many knew that he was eventually going to get a match with Triple H at Wrestlemania 35, as the former World Champion has been advocating for a match at Wrestlemania with Triple H for years, and finally he got what he wanted.

While the build-up to this match at Mania has not been anything special, it has brought an aspect to the event that would have been missing, and that is the nostalgia. While many fans feel that WWE should be moving on from the past, these types of matches are important to the success of Wrestlemania, as they do one thing other superstars on the roster fail to do and that is sell tickets.

With the financial reasoning out of the way, the one thing that this programme needs to achieve other than financial gain is a proper conclusion to the careers of Batista and Triple H. With Triple H's career on the line at Wrestlemania, it feels like the perfect time for WWE to provide a fitting end to both these men's wrestling careers, and by Batista winning this can be achieved
