This match is another Raw vs. SmackDown Live match.

The Viking Raiders have defeated every single team that has gotten in their way since making their Monday Night Raw debuts from NXT. They have beaten numerous teams of local competitors, the Lucha House Party, Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins, and Gallows & Anderson. They will face their toughest test yet in the New Day.

The Wild Card rule allows the SmackDown Live team of the New Day to come to Monday Night Raw and face off with the Viking Raiders. The New Day has been a dominant tag team ever since Kofi Kingston won the WWE Championship as they have rarely lost any matches.
