Both Bianca Belair and Kairi Sane have lost to Shayna Baszler in the past.

At NXT Takeover: New York, Shayna Baszler will have her toughest test yet when she defends the NXT Women's Championship in a fatal four-way match against Bianca Belair, Io Shirai, and Kairi Sane.

Before that match, Bianca Belair will face off with Kairi Sane in a rematch from their last match during the second round of the inaugural Mae Young Classic (highlights of this match can be viewed here) back in 2017. Bianca Belair feels that Kairi Sane has not done anything to earn this opportunity and will likely take out these frustrations against Kairi Sane in their match right before NXT Takeover: New York.

Belair has become a different competitor since she first started off during the 2017 Mae Young Classic and will likely be a tough test for Kairi Sane.
