7 mistakes WWE made on Raw this week

#4 Gable and Roode go in circles

Gable and Roode's narrative has been disappointing.

The storyline between Bobby Roode and Chad Gable had been pegged as the career rejuvenation of Roode and Gable, as rumours indicated that these two men would be in line for a huge mid-card push that would have seen Roode become a heel once again and Gable reunite with Jason Jorbon.

But now that reports have surfaced that Jason Jordon might be done with wrestling after suffering a legitimate broken neck, Gable's push might be halted, and it seems as if Roode's heel turn might be too. But that is pure speculation, and Gable taking on Viktor of the Ascension for the umpteenth time on Raw this week was just agonizing to watch.

The Ascension is the most non-credible team on the roster, as WWE has buried these once promising superstars so far in the dirt no one can see them than anything more than jobbers. And even though Gable beat Viktor quite easily, what the point? It does nothing for this narrative.
