The Greatest Royal Rumble made history as one of the biggest shows that the company has ever presented outside of North America.

Whilst the show boasted one of the most epic match cards in recent memory, it seems that there were a number of points throughout the night where many of the WWE Universe picked up on planned spots that went horribly wrong.

There were some memorable botches on Friday night and here are just ten mistakes and mishaps that stood out on the night.

#10 Whisper In The Wind

Jinder Mahal faced Jeff Hardy for the United States Championship
Jinder Mahal faced Jeff Hardy for the United States Championship

Jinder Mahal cashed in his rematch for the United States Championship at The Greatest Royal Rumble as he took on the man who defeated him on Raw a few weeks ago, Jeff Hardy.

Hardy retained his Championship and will now be able to take it back over to SmackDown Live in a less than memorable affair between the two stars, but one thing that did stand out was when Hardy hit Whisper in the Wind and Mahal was out of the way for the move but bumped anyway.

Many members of the WWE Universe picked up on the obvious botch, but luckily the feud between the two stars is now over so spots like this won't be happening again anytime soon.

#9 Bobby Lashley's bad night

Bobby Lashley made his first Rumble appearance in a number of years as part of Friday's 50-man match, but it seems that the man who's called The Dominator didn't make quite the impact that many thought he would, with one of his most memorable moments being when he tried to deliver a sidewalk slam to Elias and dropped him.

Lashley later dropped Big Cass on his head when he botched a suplex, which just about rounds up a bad night for Lashley in The Greatest Royal Rumble.

#8 Big Cass takes a trip

Big Cass made quite the entrance

Big Cass was the penultimate entrant in the 50-man Royal Rumble as part of the historic event, but it seems that the former NXT superstar's entrance into the match wasn't the way he planned when he made a beeline for Daniel Bryan and Kevin Owens fell on him.

Cass was still walking towards Bryan when Owens took him out at the knee and ruined the planned spot that Cass obviously had with Bryan ahead of his elimination.

#7 Kurt Angle and Daniel Bryan

Angle and Bryan stole the show for all the wrong reasons
Angle and Bryan stole the show for all the wrong reasons

Kurt Angle and Daniel Bryan are two of the biggest stars that WWE has ever created and having the duo in the ring at the same time would be a dream match for many of the WWE Universe, but it seems that when Angle and Bryan were in the ring together in the Rumble they weren't able to live up to the hype.

Bryan rolled out of an ankle lock that Angle locked in, but it seems that the Olympic gold medalist forgot what came next and the two stars exchanged awkward glances for a few seconds before they moved on to the next spot.

#6 The "late" Sergeant Slaughter

The broadcast team on the kick off show were reeling from the fact that Renee Young couldn't be part of the show, but this then moved over to the main show when Michael Cole seemingly forgot what words were throughout.

Cole actually called Sargeant Slaughter "The Late Sergeant Slaughter" at one point in the show and was then corrected by the entire WWE Universe on Social Media when they Tweeted the commentator to explain that the WWE legend was, in fact, still alive.

#5 Primo's introduction

Primo was added to the Greatest Royal Rumble event at number 13, but the tag team star decided to make quite the entrance with a springboard that went array.

Primo attempted to deliver the move to Tony Nese, but the ropes were against him on the night and the SmackDown superstars entrance into the Rumble will now be seen as one of the worst spots of the match.

#4 Undertaker's stumble

Undertaker had a rough night
Undertaker had a rough night

The Undertaker returned to the ring for the first time since his match with John Cena at WrestleMania as he faced Rusev in a casket match in Saudi Arabia. Taker showed his age throughout the match and merely seconds in, he backed Rusev into the corner and as he lay down the punches on Rusev his momentum almost caused him to fall over.

Taker managed to grab the rope and lift himself back up to make the mistake a little less obvious. Later in the match, Rusev made another botch when he was thrown into the casket; his head wasn't completely in so he moved down into the casket so that it could be closed much easier.

#3 New Champion?

Did Roman win the match?
Did Roman win the match?

Brock Lesnar took on Roman Reigns in a rematch from WrestleMania at The Greatest Royal Rumble but this time it was inside a steel cage. The rules of the cage match are that the winner is the person whose feet touch the ground outside the ring first and it's shown clearly that Reigns rolled off the cage and touched the ground before Lesnar.

Could this lead to another rematch between these two heavyweights?

#2 Titus' grand entrance

It was a night to forget for Titus O'Neil
It was a night to forget for Titus O'Neil

Titus O'Neil entered The Greatest Royal Rumble at number 39 but it seems that the leader of Titus Worldwide decided to make one of the most memorable entrances of the night when he tripped on the entrance ramp and flew underneath the ring.

The former Tag Team Champion attempted to shrug this off and continue the match, but the commentary team ensured that O'Neil's stumble would be remembered even after the match was over and the winner was crowned.

#1 Title Shot

Rollins accidentally hit Balor with the Intercontinental Championship

Seth Rollins defended his Intercontinental Championship in a four-way ladder match at The Greatest Royal Rumble, but even though all four men left the match with the scars to show that they had been part of a war, but Finn Balor was definitely the star who came off worst.

The end of the match saw Rollins steal the title from under Balor's nose but as he unhooked the Championship the strap fell down and hit the Irish star in the face and caused his eye to bleed.
