#5 Balor Is The New IC Champion

Finally, the man gets a title shot and wins.

The IC Championship has been in the background on Raw ever since Seth Rollins dropped it to Dean Ambrose, as evident by Ambrose wanting to leave the company his title reign did not go as planned.

But ever since Bobby Lashley picked up the belt, it seemed like the title could be gaining some steam.

However, WWE cut Lashley's IC Title run short, as they booked Balor to win the title at the Elimination Chamber in somewhat lacklustre fashion. This came about when Lio Rush's miscommunication with the Almighty Bobby Lashley cost him his first major title since he returned to the WWE.

But the main point here is that Balor winning a title after being unsuccessful to do so in almost two years is an absolute shocker, as many fans thought if he was ever going to ascend back to the top of WWE's ladder it was going to be at WrestleMania.

But now it seems they have plans for the leader of the Balor Club, and we can only look forward to what those details entail.
