#5 Family costs AJ Styles his championship

It could be a disappointing night for the champion on many levels.

AJ Styles is scheduled to face Samoa Joe for the WWE Championship in, what many would call, a dream match. Notably, Samoa Joe was handpicked by the SmackDown Live’s General Manager, Paige, due to his killer instincts and unpredictability.

Last week on SmackDown Live, the Samoan read out a letter in front of the WWE Universe as he confronted the current champion. The challenger mentioned that the champion loves to stay away from his family to keep the WWE Championship wrapped around his waist. Ironically, he claimed the letter was written by the daughter of AJ Styles.

It is evident that the WWE think-tank has decided to involved Styles’ personal life in this storyline. Hence, it is probable that we witness his family members at the ringside during his match. This can lead to an emotional moment for the champion during the match, allowing the Samoan to pick up the victory.
