#6 WWE Superstar announced pregnancy: Maria Kanellis
On an episode of WWE RAW in July 2019, then Universal Champion Seth Rollins and RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch teamed up to take on Mike and Maria Kanellis. However, just before Becky Lynch was about to attack Maria Kanellis at the ringside, Maria took the mic and claimed that she is pregnant, leaving Lynch and everyone in attendance surprised.
The nature of the announcement led to speculations of it being fake, but WWE and Maria Kanellis herself confirmed that she was indeed pregnant. WWE then started a storyline with Maria Kanellis humiliating her husband on screen by claiming that he was not the father of the child.
"It may have seemed like Maria Kanellis announcing that she was pregnant was just an excuse to get out of Becky Lynch’s reach on Raw, but turns out it was the genuine article: The Slammy Award-winning Superstar confirmed on Instagram that she is, in fact, expecting her second child."
Mike and Maria Kanellis were released by WWE in April 2020 along with several other WWE Superstars as part of the COVID-19 budget-cuts. The two are currently signed with Ring of Honor (ROH).
