Aleister Black is perhaps the "most ready" out of all Superstars on this list. He has a solid character, is getting consistently pushed, has hardly lost in the last year and is quite popular as well.

While Aleister Black would be a logical choice to win the MITB briefcase in 2020, here's why he isn't ready. Firstly, his character hasn't been established as well among the mass audience as it should. Since it's likely going to be a few more months of empty arena shows, there's no telling whether Black will have made that connection.
He's a Superstar who can have some of the best matches, but in WWE, that isn't enough. The character aspect of a Superstar goes a much longer way. While he would be an essential competitor to the match, there's no particular need for him to be.
Either way, we expect him to come the closest to winning if he does, but given that it's a ladder match, there's no need to protect him the way they normally would. He isn't ready for that just yet. Moreover, we feel his character doesn't need it as of now.
