Top 5 / Top 10

Undoubtedly one of the most important wrestling factions of all-time, the formation of the nWo was largely responsible for WCW’s short-term ability to defeat the WWE in the ratings. In fact, the early years of this group were so special that it could be argued that they began a swell in wrestling popularity that led to the huge successes of the Monday Night War era.

Highlighted by members like Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash, there also were several members that most fans forget ever wore a nWo T-Shirt. With that in mind, it is time to look at this list that looks at what 8 forgotten members of the nWo are up to now.

In order for someone to be considered for possible inclusion on this list, they first and foremost need to have been a member of the New World Order at one point or another. On top of that, they need to be someone that most wrestling fans have forgotten ever were added to the nWo’s roster. Finally, some of the things they’ve been up to in recent years have to be known.

Briefly positioned to be the heir to Hulk Hogan’s reign as the top WWE superstar, during the ‘90s Lex Luger also spent significant time in WCW where he became the Heavyweight Champion. Best known during that time for his lengthy battles against the nWo, many fans forget that he went on to join the Wolfpac and Elite versions of the group.

Retired from grappling in the ring for several years now, Luger’s body is now much smaller than it used to be and due to suffering a spinal infarction he has uses a wheelchair to move around. Said to be living with his mother these days, he still is a public figure in part due to frequent events in which he does some “faith-based speaking” to crowds.

Seen at various wrestling conventions from time to time, pictures make it obvious that he loves spending time with his former peers. Also, someone that has suffered from addiction issues in the past, he has used that experience to help the WWE with the administration of their Wellness Policy.
