One of the biggest WCW superstars of all-time, for many years the man called Sting was seen as the heart and soul of the company. For that reason, when the nWo was formed and ran roughshod over the company Sting was one of the first people fans expected to fight against the onslaught of the villainous group.
Then in a shocking turn of events, Sting appeared to turn against everything fans had grown to expect of him when he seemingly became a member of the nWo. However, it eventually was revealed that Sting had remained true to his morals and his enemies in the nWo had recruited an imposter who the added to their ranks.
Known as the nWo Sting during that time, Jeff Farmer remained a part of the group for several years but left shortly before the real Sting joined the Wolfpac version of the faction. Long retired from wrestling, Jeff now works for the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine as a part of a research program named GEAR.
