The biggest winners and losers on last night's Raw (February 26)

Roman Reigns Raw February 26
6 weeks of Roman promos began with a decent one last night.

Last night's edition of WWE's red brand finally kicked off the Road to WrestleMania, with most of the important angles being built up. However, questions remain. What about those stars who still don't have a clear path to the spectacle in New Orleans?

Losers: the Raw women's division

Another 6 woman tag.

ANOTHER one!

The result was that the heat from Alexa Bliss' promo dissipated, everyone got lost in the shuffle, and we feel no closer to WrestleMania than before. Sure, Bayley and Bank's tension continued, but it felt like an afterthought, and it followed Sunday night where they both looked like geeks since they couldn't get along enough to take the title.

As far as their rivalry goes, it's maybe the third most important in the women's division.

Winner: John Cena

John Cena looked far more vulnerable than we're used to seeing him as he cut a promo wondering where he was going. He dropped Undertaker's name to tremendous excitement, only to say that the match wouldn't happen and that he'd go to SmackDown to find another way onto the card.

A fine way to keep fans guessing where he'll end up, Cena delivered excitement last night.

Loser: Bray Wyatt

After the Eater of Pins took another one on Sunday from Matt Hardy, he went on a rampage against a jobber. Unfortunately, it all means that the feud with Matt Hardy isn't over.

Does anybody care at all at this point?

Winners: Seth Rollins and Finn Balor

Both Rollins and Balor scored a victory over the Intercontinental Champion last night. Finn Balor, of course, won by disqualification.

It was all a fine way to keep the future of the Intercontinental Championship up in the air as WrestleMania approaches and make it feel like an actual title instead of a prop for the Miz. Both Rollins and Balor have firmly inserted themselves into contention.

Winner: Roman Reigns

Ahead of his big match, WWE has fortunately decided (so far at least) not to repeat the mistakes leading into WrestleMania 31. No beanstalks or giants were to be found last night. Instead, Roman Reigns cut a promo lambasting the Universal Champion for his lack of passion for the business, and it received a positive response.

Letting the world know his feelings for the champion, Roman Reigns walked out of Monday night with far more momentum than he had before.

Losers: The Bar

Why was The Bar still feuding with Titus Worldwide after a decisive win at Elimination Chamber?

To fill time, of course.

The match was fine, but it couldn't help but feel like a waste of time. There was no need to have this match again, which was a waste of the champs' time. The red brand still has a ways to go to set up its tag team title scene for New Orleans.

Loser: Braun Strowman

If there was ever a sign that the Monster Among Men is in the wilderness, this was it. With nothing to do for WrestleMania at the moment, for the first time, Braun Strowman feels directionless. Beating up Elias is no accomplishment for him.

Hopefully, he'll find his way soon.

Loser: Ronda Rousey

After Sunday's segment almost met disaster, last night's wasn't very hot either. Giving Rousey a microphone is a bad idea. The Authority's presence on television in 2018 is a bad idea.

The segment ended with Kurt Angle laid out by Triple H and the feeling of being even less interested in the tag team match afterward than before.
