In real life, Vince McMahon is a nice man

The characters that were portrayed by respective superstars back in the '90s made us believe that those superstars were the same in real life just as they were on-screen.

Remember Steve Austin beating Mr. McMahon, fighting every bad guy in WWE and drinking beers all night long all of that was enough to make a young fan believe, everything that was happening in front of them was just as same behind the curtains.

Due to the perfection in their character–as a heel or a babyface–if anyone sees them now, they would be forced to believe the same. During that time, portraying your character was so important that heel and babyfaces weren't even allowed to drive together due to which wrestling felt so real at that time as it now.
