8 WrestleMania 34 Rumours You Need To Know: The Rock's Role, Undertaker-Cena Match May Not Happen & More

We're now just 4 days away from WrestleMania and the hype is reaching a fever pitch as we head closer to one of the best Mania cards of all-time.

Predictably, the rumour mill has been on overtime this week with WWE's biggest show of the year inching closer. Let's take a look at some of the top rumours ahead of WrestleMania.

#1 Braun Strowman's tag-team partner

We're just 4 days away from WrestleMania and we still don't know who Braun Strowman's tag-team partner will be. To be fair, it hasn't been made a 100% clear whether Strowman will have a partner or not.

Assuming Strowman will have a partner, the most likely candidate at the moment seems to be Bray Wyatt, Strowman's former mentor. Wyatt has been off WWE television since Matt Hardy took him out in the Lake of Reincarnation.

Other names that have previously been mentioned include Elias and the former WWE Superstar Bobby Lashley.

#2 Carmella's cash-in

One of the big questions heading into WrestleMania is the question of Carmella's Money In The Bank briefcase. The advertising from the SmackDown after Mania seems to suggest that Carmella could be in line to cash in during the SmackDown Women's Championship match.

Another possibility is Carmella switching brands to cash-in on the winner of the Alexa Bliss-Nia Jax match

#3 Goldberg to win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royale?

Goldberg will be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame this Friday by Paul Heyman. Some rumours doing the rounds suggest that Goldberg's participation may not end there this weekend.

Some early WrestleMania rumours suggested that Goldberg could be set to win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royale.

However, a couple of things make this rumour unlikely. Firstly, WWE would probably hype up Golberg getting back in the ring. Secondly, if Goldberg was in the match, you could almost bet your house that it wouldn't be on the pre-show. Apart from these, keep in mind that WWE prefer to use the ATGMBR to push newer stars.

#4 The Rock returns

It definitely looks like The Rock will be at New Orleans this Sunday although his exact role isn't known yet.

With Elias declaring that he will perform for the live audience at Mania, one possibility that is being talked about is Rock returning to take part in a sing-off with Elias.

#5 NXT stars in the two battle royales

A number of NXT stars could be appearing on the WrestleMania pre-show in the two Battle Royales. This is especially true of the Women's Battle Royale where a number of NXT Superstars are said to be scheduled to appear.

#6 Brock Lesnar leaving WWE after WrestleMania

Could Brock Lesnar actually leave WWE after WrestleMania? Dana White certainly seems to think so. At this point, all indications do seem to lead to the belief that Brock will be leaving. However, this could just be WWE swerving us.

#7 No Undertaker vs John Cena match?

PWInsider reported that their sources are saying that even though The Undertaker will definitely be at WrestleMania this Sunday, it was possible that there would be no match between Undertaker vs John Cena. They went on to say that instead of a match, Cena and Undertaker could instead have some kind of a face-off.

After weeks of John Cena hyping up a potential Undertaker match, if it just boils down to a segment between the two, it will definitely be a disappointment.

#8 Ronda Rousey makes Stephanie McMahon tap out

Ronda Rousey will team up at WrestleMania 34 to face WWE's power couple Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. It's no doubt that Ronda and Kurt will most definitely be winning the match.

As far as the finish of the match is concerned, most rumours ahead of Mania suggest that Ronda will be the one to make Stephanie tap out.
