Neville
The story of Neville's release from the company is unique to say the least.
Already a major star on the independent scene, Neville broke ground as NXT Champion, setting the record for the longest reign, which has only been broken by Finn Bálor.
On the main roster though, Neville was scarcely used, with a rumor going around that Vince McMahon wanted him to be a literal danger-mouse character.
Despite a highly-impressive reign as Cruiserweight Champion, contract disputes between the Brit and the WWE led to him missing the majority of this year.
After further building his star in WWE, expect Neville to return to the indies, refreshed and revitalized.
