Ken Shamrock was a decorated mixed martial arts fighter when he signed with WWE. Shamrock showed a ton of potential, but for some reason, WWE never really went all in with him. He had a lot of memorable moments during his career with the Federation, including being a part of The Corporation.

Amongst his memorable moments was the time Shamrock was briefly a double champion – holding the WWE Intercontinental Championship and one-half of the Tag-Team Championships at the same time.

Shamrock first won the WWE Intercontinental Championship in October 1998 when he won a single-night tournament for the vacant title, defeating X-Pac in the final. Then, on the December 14th edition of RAW, Shamrock teamed up with Hardcore Champion Big Boss Man to face the New Age Outlaws in a WWE Tag-Team title match. In the process, both Shamrock and the Big Boss Man became double champions for a while.

Both men’s reigns as double champions ended around a month later when they lost a tag-team title match against Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett. Shamrock went on to lose his WWE Intercontinental Championship to Val Venis at St. Valentine's Day Massacre in February 1999.

Shamrock was legitimately one of the toughest competitors to ever step foot into a WWE ring. He will go down in history as one of those superstars who deserved a longer run with the company.
