Ironically, Vince McMahon's failure to complete the initial rocket push of Roman Reigns has led to far more problems than it solved.

Fans often complain about 50/50 booking in WWE, but ironically, Roman Reigns is possibly its biggest victim. After being pushed to the moon, he fell just short of the goal. The first time this occurred was at WrestleMania 31 where, after a slobberknocker with Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns failed to capture the championship due to Seth Rollins' historic cash-in.

Roman Reigns cooled off from there for most of the remainder of 2015, but when he heated up again, apathy grew.
