WWE has proved to be the launching pad for many superstars who have gone on to make it big with the company or moved to other promotions after finding initial success with the company.

Many top wrestlers have decided to stay with the WWE for a long time, with some who have worked nonstop for the company for over a decade.

While being in the WWE, many superstars have found more than in-ring success, as they have fallen in love and many have even married their fellow superstars or other employees of the company.

This has led to the creation of many power-couples in the company and the industry, as the superstars in relationships have usually hunted in pacts for success and usually found it while working together.

There are many well-known couples from WWE who are either still together or have parted ways after making an on-screen impact or are not with the company anymore. Let’s take a look at the ten most impactful couples of WWE and how some have tried to stick together through thick and thin.

#9 Tyson Kidd and Natalya

The Sweet-Harts
The Sweet-Harts

Tyson has known Natalya since he was 14 and Natalya was just 10 years old. The couple grew up together in Calgary, Canada. Kidd was the last graduate of the Hart Dungeon which was the place where he met Natalya. He was one of her first wrestling teachers and taught her a lot in the dungeon. They tied the knot in June 2013, after 12 years of dating. He was also her manager.

The strength of their relationship was proven when Kidd suffered a life-threatening injury of the spine during a match in June 2015, while taking a MuscleBuster from Samoa Joe and became paralyzed, Natalya stood by his side and supported him throughout even though it was a hard time for her too. Kidd retired from wrestling after this fateful injury.

There were rumors about a problem in their relationship when Kidd was not featured on her hit reality TV series, but those seem to be baseless as their relationship still seems to be going smooth and getting stronger day by day.

#8 Edge and Beth Phoenix

Edge and Beth’s relationship stayed out of the spotlight for while as it began after Edge had left the WWE and Beth was making her way out. They preferred keeping their relationship private.

They got married in 2016 and had their first daughter 3 years before their marriage. Their second daughter was born a few months before their wedding.

Beth retired from her wrestling career to spend more time with her family. She felt that she was married to her work while wrestling and wanted to give some time to her new husband and two daughters. They got engaged on October 30th, 2016 on Edge’s 43rd birthday.

Edge retired from wrestling due to injuries but is still widely regarded as one of the men behind the success of the company in the 2000s, while Beth Phoenix is regarded as arguably the best female wrestler in the company’s history.

The Undertaker and Micelle McCool started dating in 2007 and got married in June 2010. There is a whopping age difference of 15 years between them but they have managed to work things and have a successful marriage.

The Undertaker seems to have finally found his true love in Michelle after two failed marriages. His love for Michelle seems to know no bounds as he recently went all out in appreciating her this Mother’s Day by buying her a truck as a present.

The Undertaker remains WWE’s longest-tenured superstar to date and competes in some of the most high-profile events and matches for the company making his very presence a special occasion.

Michelle loves to travel and the duo have been seen taking cross-country trips when both are off from their work which has helped keep their relationship healthy and well.

#6 CM Punk and AJ Lee

The fan-favorite couple
The fan-favorite couple

The on-screen duo of CM Punk and AJ Lee were probably the most entertaining couple to watch on WWE Network. The two wrestlers fell crazily in love during their time together on-screen and were dominating the company in and out of the ring.

The face of the men’s and women’s division tied the knot on June 13, 2014, and split their time between homes in Chicago, Illinois, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Soon after their marriage, Punk was released from WWE and AJ Lee asked to be released too. Their departure was seen as controversial and came at a time when both were highly loved by the WWE Universe.

Even to this day, WWE fans hope that the duo will return to the company soon, but the two are enjoying their time together while excelling in different fields and do not find returning to WWE a good prospect going forward. Punk has fought in the UFC since leaving WWE and there are rumors that he could join The Elite's upcoming promotion.

#5 The Miz and Maryse

The A-list couple
The A-list couple

Considered WWE's 'It Couple’, The Miz and Maryse have been a powerhouse in WWE over the past few years. Their recent run together started when Maryse returned to WWE on the night after WrestleMania 32 and helped her husband to win the Intercontinental Championship from Zack Ryder.

They have their own TV show called the Miz and the Mrs., which shows just how strong they are when it comes to the brand they present. They have even appeared in two films together ‘Santa’s Little Helper’ and 'Marine 5: Battleground’.

From a thoughtful proposal by Miz in Marina del Rey, in the exact convention room that the couple first met at during the 2006 Diva Search to living in Castle MarMiz together, this couple seems to have been doing things right.

They are also the only married couple to WrestleMania together at WrestleMania. You won't even believe the fact that Maryse didn't even like Miz during their initial interactions as she didn't speak much English and Miz used to criticize her about that fact.

#4 Brock Lesnar and Sable

The stars of yesterday and today
The stars of yesterday and today

The Beast Incarnate likes keeping things quiet about his personal life with Sable and that doesn't come as a huge surprise as Sable has been considered one of the most controversial women in WWE.

While some consider her to be one of the most famous female stars from the Attitude Era, others argue that she only reached that height due to a severe lack of competition, and the success immediately went to her head. Some consider her an opportunist as she was never trained in wrestling; she was a model who married to one Marc Mero and then got divorced and married another wrestler, to find herself in the wrestling business.

They got married on May 6th, 2006. When they began dating, Brock was 26 years old, while Sable was 35. Despite a nearly ten-year age difference, the two appear to be happy together and their relationship appears to be growing stronger each passing day.

Lesnar is now a two-time Universal Champion for the company which makes him the first man in history to achieve that feat.

#3 Dean Ambrose and Renee Young

The Lunatic Couple
The Lunatic Couple

Renee Young and Dean Ambrose began dating in October 2013 just about a half a year after Renee's WWE debut. They were voted the favorite WWE couple in 2017, and Renee claims to have received many death threats from Dean Ambrose's female fans once they went public with their relationship in 2015.

They got married in April 2017 in a super low-key event. Tey hired a pastor from Yelp one fine night as they decided they wanted to go married as a thought right before bed. They were married in their backyard by the Pasteur and called their friends and family to inform them about their marriage.

Renee has been there for Dean through thick and thin and recently spoke up about his terrible triceps injury in which she supported him throughout for.

Ambrose is currently competing on RAW where Renee serving as a commentator and both are seen enjoying their time once the show is wrapped up on Monday Nights.

He retired from Wrestling citing that he had a wife to think about and Brie claims that it has been scary to see him suffer so much, and it has made her consider retiring from Wrestling sooner rather than later.

However, the parents of Birdie are now back in the ring with Daniel Bryan competing on SmackDown regularly while Brie and her sister Bella can be seen competing on both the brands on and off.

The real Power Couple

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are the very definitions of the term the ‘Power Couple’ in sports entertainment. Stephanie McMahon is the daughter of Vince McMahon, CEO, and owner of World Wrestling Entertainment, and heir to the company whenever Vince retires.

Her husband is no less of an impressive person with Triple H being a 14-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion and arguably the most important wrestling character in WWE.
