#8 Shane McMahon kicked out of Roman Reigns’ spear
One of the most dangerous spots of Shane McMahon’s WWE career came at Survivor Series 2016 when he received a spear from Roman Reigns after attempting a Coast-to-Coast from one side of the ring to the other.
Roman Reigns immediately covered McMahon for a pinfall but the dazed SmackDown Commissioner accidentally kicked out by getting his right shoulder up.
The referee checked on McMahon, who was not supposed to kick out, and eliminated him from the match by ruling that he could not continue.
It was reported by the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer (H/T Wrestling Inc.) that Roman Reigns and McMahon were both shaken up and legitimately hurt after the ambitious move went wrong.
#7 Dean Ambrose kicked out of Roman Reigns’ finisher
Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose’s only televised singles match against each other came at Survivor Series 2015 in the final of the tournament to crown a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
The match featured a spot where Ambrose kicked out of a spear from Roman Reigns, but it is worth noting that The Big Dog was only just getting back to his feet and he did not execute the move with as much force as he usually does.
