Sexy Star injured Rosemary at Triplemania intentionally

What's the story?

Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Sexy Star has been removed from October's AAA show which was to be held in Tokyo.

In case you didn't know....

At Triplemania, Sexy Star was involved in an incident where she injured Rosemary's arm seemingly intentionally in the ring at the end of the match. Lady Shani, one of the other women involved in the Fatal-4-Way, and Sexy Star were reportedly legitimately shooting on each other during the match. Sexy Star locked the armbar on Rosemary and refused to let her arm go even after the end of the match.

The incident did not go over well and the entire wrestling community took offence and reacted online. Amidst all the outrage Sexy Star released a statement where she not only did not apologise for her actions but pleaded innocence, something which enraged fans and wrestlers as well. She was removed from several shows where she was supposed to perform, as well as being banned from Chris Jericho's 'Talk is Jericho' Podcast.

The heart of the matter

Sexy Star's actions at Triplemania are possibly going to haunt her forever. The latest reports from Wrestling Observer Newsletter stated that Sexy Star was removed from the October show of AAA in Tokyo for which she was scheduled to appear.

This seems to have spelt the end for Sexy Star's run with the company and after her actions and refusal to acknowledge her fault, it wouldn't be a surprise if it is.

What's next?

Given the incident with Rosemary, Sexy Star is unlikely to be hired by any wrestling promotion and may be facing the end of her wrestling career.

Author's take

This sort of response was always expected from AAA after her shoot. Sexy Star is considered dangerous by most of the wrestling community, and rightly so. As Chris Jericho said, in a sport where people trust each other with their bodies, someone who does something so malicious breaking that trust, it just spells bad news.
