Adam Pearce to bring 20-time champion back to WWE RAW as Dominik Mysterio's mystery opponent? Potential surprise explored

Adam Pearce announced last week that Dominik Mysterio will face a former World Heavyweight Champion on the upcoming episode of WWE RAW. Pearce stated that Dirty Dom will earn a shot at Gunther’s World Heavyweight Championship if he wins.

However, this may be a challenging task for the former NXT North American Champion, as there’s a possibility that Pearce could be bringing Randy Orton back to RAW to face Dominik.

With Jey Uso, a Monday Night RAW Superstar, recently appearing on SmackDown, Pearce might be looking to bring in The Viper for RAW. There’s also a chance that this could lead to the Imperium duo of Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser getting involved in Orton’s business ahead of their tag team match against The Viper and Cody Rhodes on next week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, leading up to WWE Crown Jewel.

Dominik Mysterio recently revealed why the WWE Universe hates him

Dominik Mysterio has established himself as one of the biggest heels in the wrestling business today. No matter the show or city, the loud boos from the fans are the same everywhere, as Dominik struggles to even express himself without interruption.

During a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, the Judgment Day member was asked why he is so disliked. Dominik claimed that people are jealous because he is good-looking, has the best hair, the best mustache, and Liv Morgan by his side. He stated that he understands why fans might be jealous of him, but he doesn’t understand why they hate him.

"Other than jealousy, because I'm good-looking, have the best hair, best mustache, basically breed champions, and I have the best Women's World Champion by my side Liv Morgan, of course. So I can understand why people are jealous. I don't get why they hate me. I've never done anything to them. They’re civilians," said Dominik.

It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for Dominik Mysterio moving forward.
