#1 Britt Baker what are you doing?
The Women's Championship was defended by Riho this week on Dynamite as she was put in a fatal four-way match that also included Nyla Rose, Britt Baker, and Hikaru Shida. Whilst Riho was able to retain her Championship with a pin on Baker, it appeared as though this might not have been the intended finish of the match.
The referee counted the three, but Baker then kicked out as though she thought the referee was only on two, but the count already stood. Earlier in the match, Baker looked as though she managed to trip when delivering a DDT through the ropes to Rose and she then landed on top of her opponent.
Interestingly, Baker approached Riho backstage following the match where it was made to look as though the feud between the two women is far from over. Riho faces AEW newcomer Kris Statlander next week, but she was put through a table by Nyla Rose and Britt Baker is still hot on her heels so it appears that the champion is never going to be short of challengers from the AEW Women's Division.
