#2. The awkwardness of Britt vs Kris

Britt Baker took on newcomer Kris Statlander this week knowing that the winner would be handed a shot at Women's Champion Riho on the first episode of Dynamite in 2020. Baker was ranked number one in the AEW Women's Division, but Statlander has managed to brush aside all of her opponents so far, including Hikaru Shida last week on Dynamite.

This week Statlander was able to come out on top against Britt Baker, but it wasn't without a number of sloppy moves throughout the match. Baker was going for her patented submission finisher throughout the match, but Statlander had it well scouted, to the point where Baker didn't even lock it in when she had the bigger star down.

This meant that the two women were just looking at each other for a moment waiting for the other to react. There was then a strange sequence that seemed as though the two decided to do it on the fly because something went wrong. Botches have followed Baker around throughout her time in WWE and it appears that last night was no different.
