#1. What was that match?

The Butcher and The Blade took on Cody and Darby Allin
The Butcher and The Blade took on Cody and Darby Allin

Darby Allin proved that he was Cody's ally last week on Dynamite when he came to help the dejected star up to his feet. The duo came to the agreement that if Allin helped him in his feud with The Butcher and The Blade then he would grant him a rematch, since the two men fought to a draw at Fyter Fest.

Allin helped Cody to take on the new duo, but it was a match that both men would rather forget. The match interestingly saw 'The American Nightmare' stall on the ropes, before Allin then pinned the wrong person when The Blade ran to the ropes and the referee stated that The Butcher touched him, so it was an official tag. Allin then rolled The Blade up, but the referee refused to count - this was after The Butcher had already failed in being able to pick Cody up.

Cody and Darby then performed stereo dives to the outside, but Allin got stuck on the ropes, flipped over, and almost missed his target. The Butcher also refused to take Cody's finisher off the top rope and completely botched the finish of the match, so hopefully AEW officials will take a note this and there will not be a repeat of this match anytime in the near future.
