Brandon Culter took on Maxwell Jacob Friedman as part of the first episode of AEW Dynamite, but the match obviously didn't go to plan. Like many matches on the night, there were a number of botchy, awkward-looking moments where it wasn't clear if a mistake had been made, but there were also many outright botches as well.

There was quite an interesting botch at the beginning of the match when Cutler delivered a shocking sunset flip over the top rope which looked as though it was only just able to take MJF over.

But one of the main botches came towards the end of the match when Cutler climbed to the top rope, Friedman was obviously supposed to roll out of the way, but Cutler slipped before he could deliver a move and was then left standing above his opponent, who rolled anyway.

MJF thought fast and was able to continue the match anyway, but the fact that Cutler's knee buckled when MJF hadn't worked it at any point in the match made it clear that this was a botch.
