In previous editions of our AEW Dynamite coverage, we have been critical of Kenny Omega's promo skills and to be fair, he does not really come across great when he is cutting a promo in the middle of the ring. However, in this week's episode of AEW Dynamite, he sat down with Jim Ross and the promo he cut was absolutely splendid. It wasn't just the delivery but also the content of the promo, that made many fans very happy.

4 years ago today: Kenny Omega won G1 Climax 26 by defeating Hirooki Goto in the final!!Kenny is the only gaijin to ever win the tournament! Plus he won on his first attempt!#njpw@KennyOmegamanXpic.twitter.com/OI7iy4SxtG
When AEW Dynamite was first announced as a weekly show, many people were elated because they assumed that they would see the same Kenny Omega we had come to know and love and even despite in NJPW, whom many dubbed the best pro wrestler in the entire world.
The AEW Dynamite version of Kenny Omega wasn't nearly as vicious and to be fair, was constrained and restrained in a tag team environment. But all of that may change very soon indeed.
