AEW Dynamite: Cody (C) vs Mr. Brodie Lee (for the TNT Championship)

Mr. Brodie Lee was in a nasty mood for this one on AEW Dynamite, taking the fight to Cody from the get-go. Despite Cody's flurry of early strikes, it was all Brodie Lee afterward. Lee hit Cody with a nasty powerbomb in the middle of the ring as Arn Anderson started to look concerned at ringside.

Brodie Lee followed it up with another powerbomb and followed it up with the Discus Lariat to pin Cody and win the TNT Championship. The most shocking part of this match was how one-sided it was and how less offense Cody got in.

The Dark Order members came out on AEW Dynamite to celebrate with their leader. In his post-match interview, Lee said that executives like Tony Schiavone had held him down and now that he had finally gotten a chance, he had shown what he could do. Cody was taken away on a stretcher as the members of The Dark Order continued to celebrate in the ring.

The Dark order then assaulted Arn Anderson on the entrance ramp and then brought Cody back out. Lee pushed him off the stretcher and hit him in the head with a bag. We don't know what the bag contained it couldn't have been cotton wool. It later turned out to be the old TNT Championship belt.

The Dark Order then brought out Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall who had clearly been attacked earlier on in the night. Brandi Rhodes came out to try and protect Cody from further assault but Anna Jay choked her out.

The Dark Order just changed the landscape of AEW.
