The announcement of this match surprised quite a few fans heading into Fyter Fest, but given the talent of all three performers, they actually put together quite an interesting bout.

Nyla Rose was the clear favourite going into the match, and given her power advantage over the two Joshi stars, it looked that way throughout the contest.
But in a great turn of storytelling, Rose couldn't keep focused on putting the two smaller stars away, and the fighting spirit of both Riho and Yuka kept them in the bout.
Going forward, both of these ladies will be good for the women's division, but it was Rose who looked like the star, despite taking a loss here.
The story between Rose and Awesome Kong will be paid off in the future, but AEW also set up an interesting side story between Riho and Yuka, and it's one we'll enjoy watching.
