Following the TV debut of All Elite Wrestling this week, AEW President Tony Khan was involved in a media scrum where he spoke about health insurance for his wrestlers, including Jon Moxley.

According to Khan, Moxley currently gets healthcare from his wife Renee Young, meaning the former WWE Champion is still receiving WWE benefits despite leaving the company last year.

Jon Moxley's injury and return to TV

Jon Moxley was initially set to face Kenny Omega at the AEW: All Out pay-per-view, however, due to a staph infection in his elbow, the current IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion had to pull out from the show and was therefore replaced by PAC.

Weeks prior to AEW's TV debut, NJPW confirmed that Moxley would be returning to in-ring action this month at the King of Pro Wrestling event and that the Moxley-Omega match was also re-booked by AEW for the Full Gear pay-per-view.

In this week's episode of AEW Dynamite, Moxley once again made his presence felt when he attacked Kenny Omega during the show's main event, as The Elite faced the trio of Chris Jericho, Santana, and Ortiz.

Moxley still receiving WWE healthcare benefits

Upon his return to in-ring action on this week's episode of AEW Dynamite, Jon Moxley sparked another wild brawl that ended with Kenny Omega being put through a glass table.

As previously mentioned, AEW President Tony Khan later addressed the situation and noted that Moxley still gets healthcare through his wife Rene Young. However, other notable wrestlers like Kenny Omega are still under the AEW healthcare policy. (H/T: Wrestling Inc)

"Jon Moxley actually does get healthcare but he gets it through his wife [Renee Young] who is a full-time employee elsewhere. But Kenny [Omega] does get healthcare and is a full-time employee as are a lot of people. Kenny is a part of my office and he works a full-time job. There's other people like Britt Baker who's full-time job is a dentist and she's come in and wrestle I wanna say four of the five shows."
