The first title match of TLC saw Alexa Bliss take on Micki James for the RAW Women's Championship. Mickie James made history on the night as she became the first person to have challenged for all the Women's title's that WWE has ever had.
Mickie started the match with a flurry of attacks as she intimidated her opponent before smacking her "biscuit butt". Bliss assumed control of the match and began to work on Mickie's arm. Mickie landed a powerful hurricanrana as the two women took each other out with a kick and a punch.
Mickie started unloading elbows onto the champ and fired up! The crowd got into it as she hit a spin kick to the midsection. Mickie got a pin attempt by a bridge but the champ kicked out. Alexa managed to land a sunset flip onto Mickie but only a 2-count.
Mickie fired back with a front faced slam to the champ. Mickie went to the top rope but Alexa managed to slam her down on the bad shoulder, selling it well. Alexa tried to go for the Twisted Bliss but missed. Mickie attempted and completely missed a dropkick, but Alexa sold it anyway. Mickie was in control and the crowd was chanting "We want tables".
Bliss slammed Mickie against the turnbuckles and then hit her with a DDT to win.
Result: Alexa Bliss def. Mickie James and retained the RAW Women's Championship
