Backstage news on Raw meeting, Batista with James Bond, more

As noted earlier, WWE Star Cody Rhodes tried to shoot down the report from Reddit user MetsFan4Ever about Triple H holding a backstage meeting before Monday Night Raw. We reported earlier that MetsFan4Ever broke the story of the talent’s meeting arranged by Triple H, during which he challenged talents to step up in the coming weeks as the winner for Royal Rumble is still in contention.

Rhodes claimed on Twitter that the meeting never took place for which Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted,

“Funny, I just wrote about a talent meeting a few weeks ago that several different wrestlers confirmed to me. Maybe Cody isn’t talent? And the guy noting HHH stumbling over his lines on Monday and suggesting why is amazingly on the ball.”

The feeling in WWE backstage is that the Authority’s promos on Raw this week were written by Vince McMahon directly and the little verbiage on the promos were created by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

Meanwhile, as noted earlier, WWE Superstar Batista will be playing the villain Mr.Hinx in the upcoming James Bond movie, Spectre. The filming is said to be underway in Austrian ski resort of Solden. The James Bond Official account posted picture of Batista with Daniel Craig, who plays as JamesBond, and Lea Seydoux, who plays Madeleine Swann in the ski resort.
