Batista's surprising advice to Titus O'Niel regarding his WWE future

Batista and O’Neil’s friendship goes back a long way

It has emerged that former WWE superstar Dave Bautista aka Batista has advised his good friend Titus O’Neil, who is currently suspended by WWE, to quit the franchise and look for opportunities elsewhere.

The friendship between Batista and Titus O’Neil is rock solid as the two go way back even before the latter’s career in WWE. In fact, Batista even pulled some strings to help Titus get his big break in the wrestling world.

Batista stated that he spoke to Titus on the phone, and advised him to seek a release from WWE today. The news of Batista’s intervention comes hot after Titus’ suspension for 90 days on the grounds of unprofessional conduct.

WWE came down hard on Titus after it emerged that the wrestler grabbed Vince McMahon in a “playful but physical” way at the conclusion of Daniel Bryan’s retirement celebration that took place post-RAW.

Batista was asked on Twitter if he could sort out the situation, to which the star responded: “I did something better! I called @TitusONeilWWE and told him to ask to be released. #onelife”

One rumour that’s doing the rounds in WWE is that Vince McMahon suspended Titus to send a message to the roster, whom he wants to act more professionally.
