Batista rips person who mocked his WWE career

The wrestler did not take kindly to a comment on social media

Batista was quite watchable as Mr. Hinx in ‘Spectre’

Everybody is entitled to their opinion. Everybody. And it works both ways. Case in point, Dave Bautista; ‘Batista’, to us. The WWE veteran has always enjoyed his share of popularity, right from his heyday to his cameos now and then.

What’s more, he’s quite accomplished outside the ring too, one among the elite who’ve transitioned from pro-wrestling to Hollywood with exceptional success. So anybody taking a potshot at his resume should have their guard up.

A fan recently asked Batista who he would play in the epic, ‘Titanic’, given the chance. The reply was quite light-hearted; “The ship”, Batista said. Another person tweeted, “So just like your WWE career. You’d sink.”, according to DailyWrestlingNews.

Batista was very quick to point out how factually wrong the tweeter is, in his own expected way:

The wrestler is going from strength to strength in Hollywood, playing meaty (no pun) characters in two of the biggest releases of 2014 and 2015, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and ‘Spectre’. And he certainly did not underperform in those roles, either. Just to even the scales, the tweeter would have more ammo if he or she’d chosen to single out Batista’s MMA career (wink).
