I think I speak for everyone when I say that Kenny Omega just seemed like a much bigger deal when he was in NJPW. And this is not a knock on his AEW run, which has been fine, but he was just presented as a 'special attraction' in Japan while he doesn't feel nearly as special in AEW.

And therefore, a 30-minute Iron Man match with PAC, one of the best in the world, is the best way to remedy such a situation. And yet, I wonder, in this day and age, if a 30-minute Iron Match on live television with commercial breaks, is necessarily the best idea.

But more importantly, I've always felt that while a lot is made about the AEW Tag Team division, the fact of the matter is that two singles competitors are in charge of it at the moment. Omega's mind clearly isn't on the division but on PAC, and does that, in a way, bury the entire tag team roster?

I'd much rather have Omega only focus on the Tag Team Division, while he is the Champion.
