Drew Gulak is not your regular enhancement talent. I'm sure you guys know this already, from watching 205 Live and NXT. He is a former Cruiserweight Champion who was used simply as a jobber on this week's SmackDown episode.
You can make the argument that a lot more people saw this week's SmackDown episode than they do 205 Live and NXT, but I still think that the way that he was used this week does a lot more damage to his character than if he'd never shown up. I really do hope that this was just a one-off appearance and not an indication of where Drew Gulak's career will be heading.
I know that Curtis Axel was used in the same manner and he's a wealth of talent as well, but at the same time, he's not in the same league that Gulak is currently. Or at least, he hasn't been, in quite some time.
