#2 Best: Bray Wyatt's character work and Daniel Bryan returns with new look

Bray Wyatt faced The Miz in a non-title match at TLC. The match itself was pretty good but what was spectacular about the match was Wyatt's character work during it. Wyatt started off not wanting to hit Miz back but kept getting more aggressive as the match went on. Even when he dished out some offense of his own, Wyatt kept oscillating between rage and the happy-go-lucky side of his character.

After Wyatt pinned Bryan to win the match, The Fiend appeared on the screen and encouraged Wyatt to go further. This led to Bray Wyatt bringing out a huge mallet from under the ring, which he'd previously shown off in one of the Funhouse segments. Wyatt brought the mallet into the ring but didn't end up using it.

This also led to Daniel Bryan coming out and blindsiding Wyatt with a running knee strike. When Daniel Bryan took his hoodie off, we saw his new slightly clean-shaven look, a throwback to his look from the early 2010s. This new throwback look was probably done to cement Bryan's return to being a babyface. After taking Wyatt out, Bryan took the mallet and went to smash him with it. The lights went off at this point and Bray was gone when they came back.

This segment also did an excellent job of setting up Bryan and Wyatt's match, probably at Royal Rumble in January.
