WWE SmackDown started on the right note this week as Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns battled it out inside a steel cage. It was probably not as good as their match at TLC, but that's a very high bar to compete with, one that's been set by these very men. We know that there's no way that the WWE Universal Championship will be put around Kevin Owens' waist, but that didn't diminish our enjoyment of this awesome WWE SmackDown contest.

Kevin Owens looked strong in defeat at TLC and he looked just as strong on WWE SmackDown this week as well.

The main thing that the WWE SmackDown creative staff must ensure is that Kevin Owens does not lose the momentum that he has right now, in the same manner, that Jey Uso continued to be a big star following his feud with Roman Reigns. Who do you think will step up to Roman Reigns next?
