Big indie star to make WWE NXT debut pre-SummerSlam at Takeover in Brooklyn

NXT adding to its wealth of talent

The WWE’s developmental branch, NXT, is making strides in grooming future main roster talent. It recently announced the signing of popular indie wrestler Apollo Crews, formerly known as Uhaa Nation.

Known for his power, agility and explosiveness, Crews is quite the crowd-worker. He will debut at NXT Takeover in Brooklyn which will be a precursor to SummerSlam.

It is currently unknown if he will actually be involved in a match or cut a promo at the event, but let it be said that he enters with a lot of expectations from fans and the powers that be at the WWE. His debut has been awaited for months and he appeared in a contract signing segment on May 6 at NXT: Unstoppable.
