Big update on Rey Mysterio's WWE future, Vince agreeing to Mysterio's demands?

Rey Mysterio expected to be back soon

Regarding Rey Mysterio, WWE are expecting him to return to TV soon and as per reports they want him back as early as possible.

It is believed that chairman and CEO Vince McMahon has understood that the current roster is deficient in terms of star power and the company needs to hold on to their Hispanic market which is why he has been forced to agree terms with Mysterio. Vince, apparently, had to ”loosen up the purse strings” on some of Rey’s requests.

As of now, Mysterio won’t be joining AAA’s Lucha Underground and he will be renewing his WWE contract when the current deal will expire in May next year. Rey may also end up doing a lot of work outside of the ring as per speculated WWE plans.

While Rey does have his differences with Vince, he’s been with WWE a long time and has a lot of friends in the company. It likely comes down to economics as Rey probably won’t receive a better offer from any other company.
