Bloodline legend to return and secretly help Roman Reigns? Exploring possible Solo Sikoa betrayal before The Tribal Chief's WWE SmackDown return

The last time Roman Reigns was on Friday Night SmackDown, he was brutally attacked and put through the announcer's table by Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline. Since this attack, Reigns has not made a single appearance on WWE programming while Sikoa will be challenging Cody Rhodes next week.

However, before The Original Tribal Chief returns to action on SmackDown, there is a chance a real-life Bloodline legend could help him. The real-life Bloodline legend in question is Rikishi. Father of The Usos and Solo Sikoa, Rikishi could betray his son and align with Reigns.

On SmackDown, Rikishi could make an appearance and gather all the Fatus, including Jacob Fatu. Further, he, along with the Fatus could align with Afa Anoa'i and Sika Anoa'i's choice to be the Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns. This potential angle would see the original Bloodline reunite.

While speculative, the angle is possible because Rikishi, during an episode of his podcast, spoke about the possibility of Jimmy Uso reuniting with Jey Uso and Roman Reigns. If something along these lines takes place, it will be interesting to see how Solo Sikoa and his crew react to it.

Veteran wrestling journalist says Roman Reigns has unparalleled star power in WWE

As John Cena mentioned in an earlier interview, Roman Reigns has been in the main event picture for the last 10 years. That alone speaks volumes of the faith the Stamford-based promotion has in The Original Tribal Chief. It would be safe to say that Reigns' performances have cemented him as a massive star for the company.

One man who agrees with the same is veteran wrestling journalist, Bill Apter. During the latest episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, Apter mentioned that even as a heel, Reigns was the most over superstar in WWE. He further said:

"You cannot overlook the fact that even as a heel [Roman Reigns] is the most over wrestler in the company. He does all these amazing personal appearances. He did a big thing with Paul Heyman this weekend." [From 20:13 to 20:31]
