The penultimate episode of Monday Night Raw ahead of Tables, Ladders, and Chairs on December 16th rolled into Houston, Texas and it was a night that set up a number of future feuds.

The Women's Division opened Raw this week as Rousey pushed her feud forward with Nia Jax, but was on the backfoot from the outset as The Riott Squad attacked Natalya and left the Women's Champion alone in a handicap match against Tamina and Jax.

Alexa Bliss went on to host another forum with Sasha Banks and Bayley that seemingly went to plan this week after Mickie James, Alicia Fox and Dana Brooke attacked the two women last week as part of the segment that was seen as cringe-worthy by the WWE Universe.

There was a lot to focus on this week, but there were also a number of noteworthy botches that are worth remembering.

#4 Ronda Rousey's shocking punches

Ronda Rousey was attacked in the opening segment of Monday Night Raw this week after Natalya was taken out of action and she was left to fend off Tamina and Nia Jax on her own. Rousey obviously has the power to take out both women on her own, but for some reason, all of her punches failed to miss any kind of target, which could be why she was left in a position where she was beaten by both women.

Rousey was throwing punches at Nia Jax, but for some reason, the punches weren't even touching her arms, which showed that many of them were fake. Rousey has been criticized for her in-ring issues ever since she debuted in WWE and this week it appeared to get much worse for the Raw Women's Champion.

#3 Alicia and Fox?

Rough night for Bayley and Sasha

Alexa Bliss decided to try again to put together an open forum for fans to get to know Sasha Banks and Bayley, but whilst The Goddess was once again seamless on the mic, Bayley tripped over her lines at the beginning of the segment where she accidentally called Alicia Fox, Alexa Bliss. She then went on to refer to the trio as Alicia, Mickie, and Fox instead of including Dana Brooke in the attack.

Later in the segment, Sasha Banks asked Alexa Bliss who was next and it appears that she thought she asked who she was, since she went on to tell her that she was in charge. This led to Banks telling her to clean out her ears. Banks later told Bliss that she sucked which led to Bliss bringing up the fact that she took away her Women's Championship.

The tension in the ring could be cut with a knife since it became more and more obvious that Bliss and Banks have a few personal issues with each other.

#2 Baron Corbin is still struggling with promos

When Baron Corbin became the Constable of Monday Night Raw, there were questions over whether or not he was at the level needed to deliver promos on a regular basis. Corbin has been pulled up on a number of his botches when it comes to the promos as General Manager Elect but now that he is in the running to become permanent General Manager following TLC, it was thought that he had attended a number of classes and improved.

This week on Raw, it showed that Corbin was still struggling with his lines when he tripped over his words and told Heath Slater and Rhyno that there wasn't enough Raw for them, rather than there wasn't enough room on Raw. Corbin corrected himself and continued the line, but it was a blatantly obvious botch.

#1 Ronda Rousey

Tamina Snuka had no business being in the main event

Ronda Rousey teamed with Ember Moon in the main event of Monday Night Raw this week as they took on Tamina and Nia Jax in what was a horrific match between the four women. There were a number of botches throughout the match that saw Tamina and Ronda Rousey prove that neither of them had any business in the main event of WWE's Flagship show.

Rousey decided to show off a new move that she had been working on which looks like a step up enziguri but it didn't actually hit Tamina at all, it was obvious that her leg floated over and Tamina bumped anyway. Snuka had a number of horrific moments of her own as she seemingly struggled to be the main heel whilst Jax refused to fight Rousey ahead of their match next weekend at TLC.
