3 Botches you probably missed on Raw (November 12th, 2018)

It was another botchy episode of Raw

It was the final episode of Monday Night Raw before Survivor Series this week and that meant that tensions were running high ahead of the collision between Raw and SmackDown on Sunday night.

Both Stephanie McMahon and Brock Lesnar made their returns to the company's flagship show as the Commissioner pushed for her brand to remain on the same page in the hopes that they will come out on top when the pressure is on in Los Angeles.

Of course, when tensions are rising there is room for error and this week on Raw there were a number of errors made by some of the stars that the WWE Universe wouldn't have expected.

#3 That opening segment

This week's opening segment was somewhat underwhelming
This week's opening segment was somewhat underwhelming

This week's episode of Raw kicked off with a number of WWE tag teams in the ring hoping to win the captain spot for their match at Survivor Series, but the match was unable to finish and crown any winners since Braun Strowman made his way to the ring and wiped out the field of stars.

Strowman then decided that he would target all the stars on the outside but as he ran around the ring, Curtis Axel didn't bump as quickly as he should from his shoulder tackle and The Monster Among Men had to grab onto the ring to prevent himself from falling over.

Stephanie McMahon was then forced to come out and stop Strowman from hijacking Raw and that brought out Ronda Rousey who was looking for a fight but as she approached Stephanie McMahon, Baron Corbin made his way to the ring and Rousey decided to take her frustrations out on him. Corbin looked completely unprepared for the spot since the Judo Throw looked messy and he then went on to no sell the move a few seconds later.

#2 Ruby Riott was unable to recreate Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart's magic

It was a rough week for The Riott Squad

Squad

Over the past few weeks, The Riott Squad have targetted Natalya and last week on Raw The Queen of Harts was reduced to tears when Riott snapped her father's glasses in half mid-match.

This week, Riott delivered a promo where she appeared to be proud of what she had done to Natalya in recent weeks and continued to poke fun at her late father before Nattie hit the ring and was beaten down in a three-on-one assault. Sarah Logan then picked the former Women's Champion up and delivered the Hart Attack, but Riott's timing was completely off and the bump that followed was not even close the to the real thing. Riott is usually so on pointe in the ring but it appears that the former NXT star was definitely having a bad week.

#1 What was that ending?

The ending to Raw was very botchy as the women from SmackDown and Raw battled it out

Survivor Series season means that there will be an invasion angle of some sort but it was the women who were given the nod on Monday Night Raw and it was an absolutely shocking end to the show as bodies were thrown around the ring and in the midst of the chaos, Becky Lynch's face was busted open.

Rousey ran to the ring and in order to show that her arm was injured, she threw some of the worst clotheslines and Peyton Royce didn't even want to go near her. This was Raw's final build-up to Survivor Series and they decided to pull the trigger on the wrong angle. SmackDown did manage to gain some bragging rights but the revenge tomorrow night may not have been worth it.
