WWE Superstar Big E has not competed in a match since suffering a broken neck in 2022. However, a recent report revealed that The New Day member will be appearing on next Monday's edition of RAW.
The New Day has been struggling lately. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods lost to Alpha Academy this past Monday night on RAW and argued during the match. The trio will be celebrating ten years as a faction during next week's episode of the red brand.
Listed below are five things Big E can do during his return to WWE RAW next Monday night.
#5. WWE star Big E could announce that he has been cleared to return to action
Big E hasn't wrestled since he broke his neck on the March 11, 2022, episode of SmackDown. The veteran has been serving as an analyst for the company during his time away from the ring but could be planning on making a major announcement during next Monday's episode of WWE RAW.
The former champion could show up during The New Day's celebration and share that he was ready to return to the ring. Wrestling fans have been hoping to see the 38-year-old in the squared circle again for a while, and it would be an incredible moment during next week's show.
#4. The former WWE Champion could split up The New Day
The New Day has been unable to get on the same page lately, and egos appear to be getting in the way of the faction finding success on RAW. Big E could return during the faction's 10th anniversary next Monday and suggest that it was time for them to go their separate ways.
Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston do not appear to be working well together anymore, and it could be time for them to break up. Big E could orchestrate a cordial split of the faction and prevent the two stars from attacking each other on RAW next week.
#3. The veteran could reunite his faction
All signs are pointing to The New Day breaking up next week after Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston took shots at each other on this past Monday's episode of RAW. Kingston called Woods reckless during their argument, and the 38-year-old responded by mocking his stablemate for getting squashed by Brock Lesnar in 2019.
Big E may decide to return during his faction's anniversary next week and announce that he wants the group to stay together. He may reveal that he has been cleared to return to the ring but only wanted to do so as a member of The New Day. Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston would then have to settle their differences for the group to reunite.
#2. The New Day star could have a major new role in WWE
Big E is a tremendous talent in the ring, but many fans have connected with his personality. The former Intercontinental Champion has excelled as an analyst for the company and could reveal a major new role next Monday on RAW.
The veteran could announce that he was returning as a manager and wanted to help The New Day get back on track. Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston would then have to decide whether they wanted to continue as a faction with Big E as their mentor.
#1. The 38-year-old could announce his retirement from the ring
WWE star Big E accomplished a lot during his professional wrestling career, and many fans are still hoping that they will not see the last of him in the ring. However, it has been 992 days since he last competed in a match, and he could be returning to RAW to make an unfortunate announcement.
The 12-time champion may make an appearance during The New Day's 10th anniversary celebration to share that he will be retiring from in-ring competition. The announcement could perhaps bring Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods back together, and the duo may decide to honor their stablemate by remaining a faction moving forward.
