Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of 'The Roman Empire' - Roman Reigns turns 30

A Tribute to Roman Reigns on his birthday

The Foundation Stone of today’s vast ‘Roman Empire’ was laid exactly 30 years back. The fact that Roman Reigns is one of the most talented WWE superstars is already proven, whether you like it or not and whether you accept it or not.

2 years in the WWE-

Contested in 2 Royal Rumble matches- Runner in the first, Winner in the Second!

Sole Survivor in the only traditional Survivor Series match ever competed!

WrestleMania main event against Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship!

Most number of Rumble eliminations!

Slammy Award for the “Superstar of the Year”!

Most number of eliminations in a Survivor Series elimination match!

Anything and Everything in just a couple of years! What else could you ask for?

Reigns should have climbed the WWE ladder much earlier. Back in 2014, Reigns could very well be a part of the WrestleMania 30 main event by winning the Royal Rumble, but thanks to Batista for his unsuccessful short spell in WWE. Later on, when a storyline is developing between John Cena and Reigns, it was anticipated that Reigns would become the World Champion but this time it was Brock Lesnar, who made a dominant comeback and enjoyed a decent title reign. The third one and the most recent one was at WrestleMania 31. This time it was Reigns’ former Shield brethren, Seth Rollins, who seized his moment.

But one thing is as clear as daylight. Reigns will be crowned the ‘WWE World Heavyweight Champion’ very soon and you can surely BELIEVE THAT. Once a proper storyline is ready for Reigns, the WWE creative team has got a few words for you- HE CAN & HE WILL! A vicious SPEAR FROM REIGNS is something worthy to watch on any day and sure enough a SUPERMAN PUNCH from the Samoan Superman would automatically make you rise to your feet and applaud him.

It’s good to see Reigns help his friend Ambrose, who faces Rollins at ‘Elimination Chamber’ PPV but he should not do it for long. This is the best time for Reigns to expand his ‘Empire’ because Cena is looking after the business of the US title, Daniel Bryan is out of action and Brock Lesnar is temporarily suspended. Reigns has achieved so much in so little time and let us wish that he would achieve even more in the coming years. I don’t mind even if you call it an exaggeration, Reigns is undoubtedly the next ‘Rock’ of the Samoan wrestling family.

‘Long Live Roman Empire’

Wish you a Happy Birthday!
