Another popular big time superstar under the age of 30 is Bayley. In terms of the numbers, it is not inconceivable that Angle fathered Bayley with an ex-girlfriend almost 30 years ago, and again, this would help a struggling superstar find a reason to be placed back in the main event spotlight.
There are a couple of reasons why Bayley could be the child. Firstly, part of her character is that she has been a wrestling fan all her life, and is now living her dream on the main stage. Perhaps Bayley’s love for wrestling was all a way to get close to her father, a father who didn’t even know she existed. Instead of just seeking him out and having a face to face talk with him, she instead spent all the time she could going to wrestling events in the hope of eventually plucking up the courage to introduce herself.
Another reason is that Bayley normally plays the ‘daddy’s girl’, especially since her promotion up to the main roster. Maybe this is her way of psychologically compensating for not knowing for sure who her father was growing up.
If her father did turn out to be Angle, then it could also be a good way to explain why she became much more childish since joining the main roster. What if her vulnerable, little girl gimmick was all a way to attract the attention of her daddy/GM? After all, we all remember that segment involving Bayley and Angle right before her match with Alexa Bliss at Extreme Rules. Something about that felt very paternal.
