#4 Apollo Crews' title quests are over for now after another loss at WWE Clash of Champions

It's been a rough few weeks for Apollo Crews who hasn't won much since overcoming MVP at SummerSlam. He would've hoped to reclaim the United States Championship at WWE Clash of Champions but beating Bobby Lashley is no easy task. The CEO of The Hurt Business dispatched him with ease yet again, courtesy of The Hurt Lock. In between all this, Apollo's former aide Cedric Alexander also betrayed him and jumped ship.

The Hurt Business is currently feuding with RETRIBUTION, who have interestingly been missing in action for the third consecutive pay-per-view. This is indicative of one thing only. WWE wanted Lashley to be done with Crews for good at WWE Clash of Champions before his faction focused on T-Bar and co.

It'll be very surprising to see Apollo Crews get another shot at a title soon after another failed attempt at claiming gold. He looks primed for a non-title feud with Cedric Alexander, with Ricochet also likely to be involved.
