#2 RAW's Women's Division hits a stalemate at WWE Clash of Champions

The unique selling point of WWE Clash of Champions is that every title in the company has to be defended during this show. While WWE certainly had those intentions, the COVID situation resulted in the company pulling out Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, and Nikki Cross from the card.

Jax and Baszler were supposed to defend their Women's Tag Team Championships against Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan but the challengers too had to withdraw from the event as a result. Meanwhile, Asuka faced Zelina Vega for the RAW Women's Championship at WWE Clash of Champions and expectedly defended her title.

Not only does this leave the Empress of Tomorrow with a legitimate challenger for her title, the future of the already out-of-favor Women's tag titles is now more obscure. Once again, WWE will have to make the most of the upcoming WWE Draft to restructure the RAW women's division.
